Inman Park's dining scene is one of the neighborhood's best-kept secrets — or at least it was, before North Highland Avenue became one of Atlanta's most talked-about restaurant corridors. The stretch of Highland running through Inman Park is home to a remarkable concentration of restaurants, bars, and cafés, each with its own personality.

Unlike some Atlanta neighborhoods where dining options feel homogeneous, Inman Park's restaurant scene is genuinely diverse. You've got handmade Italian, refined Southern, French café culture, Spanish tapas, neighborhood pubs, and craft cocktails — all within a few blocks of each other. It's the kind of corridor where you can eat somewhere different every night for a week and never feel like you're repeating yourself.

Coffee Shops

Inman Park doesn't have a single dominant coffee shop — instead, it has a handful of small, neighborhood-oriented spots that each have their own following. Here are the ones worth knowing about:

Inman Perk Coffee

The neighborhood's go-to coffee shop. Simple, reliable, and perfectly located on Highland Avenue for a morning walk.

240 N Highland Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30307

Bread & Butterfly

Double-listed because it's that good for coffee. The espresso drinks are excellent, and the pastry case is hard to resist.

Aurora Coffee

A local favorite on the Moreland Avenue edge of the neighborhood. Strong coffee, good vibes, and a slightly more laid-back pace.

Tips for Dining in Inman Park

Make reservations for Wisteria and BoccaLupo. Both are popular and fill up quickly, especially on weekends. Wisteria's tasting menus are worth planning ahead for.

The Highland Avenue cluster is best experienced on foot. Park once, then walk between Fritti, Barcelona, North Highland Pub, and Little Spirit. The block around 299 North Highland is particularly dense with options.

Weekend brunch at Bread & Butterfly is worth the wait. It's a small space and it fills up, but the pastries and the atmosphere make it one of the best brunch spots in intown Atlanta.

Don't sleep on Edgewood Avenue. BoccaLupo is technically just outside the Inman Park boundary on Edgewood, but it's walking distance from most of the neighborhood and well worth the stroll.

The BeltLine makes Inman Park's dining scene accessible from other neighborhoods. If you're in Poncey-Highland or Old Fourth Ward, you can walk or bike to Highland Avenue in minutes via the Eastside Trail.
